KAM Salon Owner Finalist in British Hairdressing Awards 2023

The annual British Hairdressing Awards were held in London at the Grosvenor Hotel, Karen was once again a finalist, this is now her fifth nomination in these prestigious awards which are the biggest night on the hairdressing calander...the "Oscars of Hairdressing".

Hosted by Katherine Ryan, Hairdressers Journal International Executive Director Jayne Lewis-Orr, Schwarzkopf Professional General Manager UK and Ireland, Julian Crane and Hairdressers Journal International Editor Charlotte Grant-West, the evening saw the 1400-strong audience entertained and inspired with a variety of entertainment. 

There were fabulous shows from sponsors Schwarzkopf Professional, Nick Irwin and the Schwarzkopf Professional Young Artistic Team as well as the eight British Hairdresser of the Year nominees, plus a performance by Abba tribute band Björn Again too.

Wow that was some night! 
The energy was off the charts and I was surrounded by so many talented and lovely people. We truly are fortunate to be part of this amazing industry.

I'm feeling incredibly grateful to have been a finalist once again. Being at the awards reminded me of the immense dedication and hard work it takes to get there. Just being in that room felt like a victory in itself!

A huge congratulations to all the winners, but I want to give a special shoutout to @davidcorbetthairdressing for winning Scottish. Your collection was absolutely stunning and you truly deserved the recognition ❤️

Nights like this remind me of why I continue to put in the work and effort to enter. The joy, the connections, and the sense of fulfillment make it all worth it.  It was also amazing to reconnect with old friends and colleagues, as well as make new friendships.
