British Hairdressing Business Awards 2017
Karen, Paula and Claire headed down to London last week to attend the annual Hairdressers Journal British Hairdressing Awards. We were finalists in two categories this year, Retail salon of the year and also Customer Care. These awards celebrate the industries most innovative and outstanding individuals in the business.
Customer Care award celebrates devotion to client relationships and the salons that make it there utmost priority.
Retail Salon of the year recognises salons with an extraordinary record when it comes to displaying, recommending and prescribing professional haircare.
The Ceremony was held in one of London’s top hotels, The Westminster Bridge Park Plaza. Guests arrived to a drinks reception where they had the chance to mingle with friends and catch up with fellow finalists and business associates. From there they were then invited down to the main hall were dinner was served before the awards were announced.
Comedian and host for the evening Rob Becket kicked off the night alongside HJ’s executive director, Jayne-Lewis Orr.
On this occasion KAM were unlucky not to take home an award back to Lossiemouth and for the rest of the team. However Karen spoke on the evening saying how proud she is of her team for getting this far and to be recognised at such prestigious awards.
