Rylan Clark-Neal set the tone of the evening, held at the Grosvenor House, a JW Marriott Hotel. Once the nine regional winners were announced, with Karen Thomson scooping the fantastic Scottish Hairdresser of the Year 2018 category, the audience were treated to a capsule set from Scouting for Girls. For Karen, winning this award is an incredible achievement being from a small salon in Lossiemouth where there is no town centre or passing trade and something Karen has inspired to achieve throughout her hairdressing career.

What a way to end 2018!
